There are a LOT of great games available on steam,and most of them very cheap,especially if you wait for the next sale to pick up the games you want,like I do.īelieve me,Steam is the place to be if you are a true gamer,lots of great indie games,lots of free to play,competitive FPS games,very good infrastructure,and I wont even begin to talk about the market and the trading cards/badges/profile XP stuff. of game In all servers there is a brutal lag. Dont get discouraged by this,there have been a large number of attacks by a DDoS group called DerpTrolling (no not kidding,google it up) that shut down a number of sites including Battlelog,and even steam servers.Įven though some bigger games like dota 2 had servers back up in a pinch,this is an indie game,and probably will take more time to solve. I bought the game so I could play other people, if I was just going to be stuck playing bots, I would have saved my money and bought paint to watch dry. At the time of Battle-Cars, Psyonix could not afford a dedicated server network. EDIT: It seems if I right click on the server and click 'View server info' I can check if there are people on those servers or not. I tried refreshing my game cache but that did not work. This game is so far a check in the "FAIL" column. Every single server I join there are 0 people in it, even if I refresh and it says (for example) 28/32 players, then I will join, and there are 0 people in that server. Game downloads should be simple (which it mostly is with steam) and they should always work within relm of reasonable expectations. I cant currently play any last man standing because the only available servers are low ranks (5+ which are full), and a few with too high a ping. These servers are usually fairly full, hence us higher ranks cant find populated good servers. This was my first steam purchase, and may prove to be my last. With the current player populaiton it makes sense to remove these servers.
Game seems fun, MAYBE some day I will get to play it. I have set filters, I have Re-installed (3x), I have re-booted comp, and game. expansion) 2 days ago, and have YET to see a single server show up.
